Swift Drilling relying on the technique of Kränzle
Swift Drilling, Den Helder is an innovative Dutch offshore drilling company. Their high-tech mobile drilling unit , the SWIFT10, a remarkable piece of engineering, is a highly efficient, safe and reliable rig. It is operated by a highly motivated, skilled and productive crew. SWIFT10 is currently drilling production and exploration wells for NAM in the southern part of the North Sea.
For cleaning work on the rig, Swift already used a hot water high pressure cleaner, only was not completely satisfied with it’s performance. Their supplier Unishore BV, distributor of Kränzle high pressure cleaners, suggested trying the Kränzle high pressure cleaners. They are manufactured in Germany, in a process where all parts of the machine are engineered and produced in their factory. This results in machines in which every part is engineered seperately to fit seamlesly together. The result is a range of highly reliable, safe, easy to use and maintenance friendly machines, deployable in extreme circumstances like those at sea.Unishore provided a test diesel fired hot water model Therm 1165-1H. This reliable and efficient machine delivers a pressure of 180 bar, a water flow of 1165 litres per hour and is equipped with various safety systems such as flame control, safety thermostat and flow monitoring. After the test period, Swift decided to invest in this machine.
Swift has the Therm 1165-1H operational at SWIFT10.
